"It's been a while hasn't it?" Jules inquired, almost as if she expected a spoken response from the mare. Hand slid gently up the mare's face to her cheek where her finger's softly caressed the golden hide. Deciding a ride would do them good, she untied the lead rope from the fence post. A cluck was issued and she grabbed a hold of Redemption's halter, snapping the clasp of the lead rope shut upon it. She unlocked the gate and pushed it open, holding it securly with her hand as she and Redemption exitted. "Well, let's go get you tacked up," was the final words as the pair moved in the direction of the barn.
