Jules led a shining mare of red-chestnut to the opening of the Misty Forest. She stopped her, "This will be our first ride," She whispered, "So be good." Her comment was said firmly but a heavy accent of affection smothered it. She softly patted the mare's neck before moving the reins over her head and slipping a foot into the recently-adjusted stirrup. She climbed up into the saddle and settled before gathering her reins and clucking to Red, "Let's go, Red darling."
