Male of blue merle hue let out a distinct bark before trotting over to the foyer room. Standing at Maddie's side he cocked his head, wondering who these strangers were. His stance was sturdy as he crouched, a threatening position for the strangers. Another firm bark was released, demanding to know if Maddie had invited them or if they were intruders. Senses guided him to believe they meant no harm, for Maddie had made no notion to throw them out. Her smile was reassuring. ××× ×Val× Female of tri hue's ears picked up the sound waves caused by the bark of Happy. She too approached the door, but she made no attempt to figure the strangers out. Unlike Happy, she had no gaurd instinct, only motherly and the young girl in the doorway brought that side of her out.
