My son is severely dyslexic (but his maths is ok). I thoroughly recommend a workbook called 'Toe by Toe' to help with reading. You can do 10-15 mins every day at home and it costs very little.

Another program which we found very good is 'Reading Plus' which is a computer based program. It cost me £400 but some schools have it.
