I've learned a tremendous amount about myself these past few weeks. I have some amazing people in my life. I am proud to announce that I passed the Praxis II exam, and I am staying at Blackburn! Hooray! As some of you know, Marc resigned from Pepsi-Cola a few weeks ago. He has accepted a position with Red Bull Distributing, and is very excited about his new job. Abbey and I are so very proud of him. As always, I was under a lot of pressure at the end of this dance year with the recital and all of the "issues" that go along with it. A special "thank you" to those people that stuck by me and helped me through it all despite knowing that I worry about things way too much! You guys are great! Thanks also to everyone that has supported me and my weight loss journey. It has been hard, but dancing with Myranda made it all worth it! Between Marc, Mel, and myself... we've lost almost 100 pounds. WOW! As my Summer Privates, Little Miss North Carolina and Princess of North Carolina rapidly approach, my summer is going to be crazy! I can't wait! I'm continuing to take Licensure Classes at UNCC this summer too. Hopefully I will be finished by next summer! I'll stop to breath some time in September! Ha Ha! She was sick and had to have some tests run.. And also on Monday night she was in the ER until late with an IV because she was dehydrated. She also has a mass on her chest on her sternum, that is causing severe chest pains. She went to the doctor, and they said that it didn't look to be malignant, but he is going to re-check her in 3 months maybe unless the chest pains worsen. So she would like everyone at the dance studio to pray for her. And they will both be back at dance next week, ready to go. You both gave Emily so much - on stage and in the dressing area. She is very greatful to have friends like the two of you! She looks up to you both so much. Date Posted: 08:00:21 02/23/06 Thu The "Miss Foard High 2006" pageant will be held on March 11th at Jacobs Fork Middle School. I THINK the pageant starts at 7:00 pm, but I'm not totally sure! I will try and find out for sure soon! Anyone else that knows for sure is welcome to leave a reply. Myranda Bumgarner, a Junior, and Ashley Crews, a Senior, will be competing.
