Truth is, I love the name Kentucky colonels! I didn't want to sound too obvious though. Besides, I am assuming that the NBA holds some kind of rights to that name. if it makes you feel better, the youth league I run here in austin, TX will be expanding this summer and one of the teams will be named Colonels. We will also have a team called the Sounds, joined by the already established Cougars, Spirits, and Squires. I hope it's ok to say this, but go to abahoops.org and check us out.
