In reply to: Unnamed Mare and Foal 's message, "**At last, the exhaustion too much, the mare fell to her knees, then collapsed on her side. She whinnied pitifully, praying someone would hear her plea. Help me... Her foal watched in confusion and layed down beside her, strecthing his arabian head across her slender neck, resting it atop her sculpted, wounded shoulder...**" on 12:50:19 05/15/01 Tue

She follows the sound to the stall, seeing the fallen mare. She shakes her head and moves to the feed room grabbing a bucket with water and some rags and bandages. She returns to the mare's side and shakes her head again, mumbling some in Egyptian. She gently dabs the wounds with a wet rag and then tries to get mare to stand so that the wound could be wrapped and bandaged.

**Because of her total exhaustion, the mare couldn't fight this creature she has always feared... People had worked her own mother to death and left her, a tiny foal, to fend for herself... But for her foals sake, she must heal, so she mustered any strength she had left and rose shakily to her weakened feet, nickering uncertainly... The foal stood closely by his mother's side** (NT)Unnamed Mare and Foal17:20:57 05/18/01 Fri
