�The midnight mare with the pelt that mimicked the borealis heard a distant whinny. Auds pricked with excitement. She knew that voice anywhere. Her love had returned and she was not there to welcome him. Orbs lifted and searched out her gray son. He was not near by. She trumpeted for him urgently. Heaven! HEAVEN!! Come for your father has returned. With that she took off at a run in the direction of her love. Blackened wings stretched wide and lifted her body into the air. Blades beat the air with ferocity to reach her mate. I'm coming Rain, I'm coming.�

*�Heaven had been off exploring again. He had grown quite a bit since his father had left. His mother kept telling him that the more he learned the faster he seemed to grow up. She was right. Her voice was heard then, calling for him. Rain had returned. With a flash of silver the irradecent colt took to the skies in pursuit of his mother and father. He reached them in time to see his mother touch down on the ground below him and nuzzle his father warmly. He glided in behind her and stood and watched the reunion until his chance to greet his father.�*
