)Mouse barely sees the newcomer at first, her attention soley focused on her opponent before her. As the young mare changes, though, her attention is hooked and she glances upward in time to see her belting toward the group.(

)She cries, rearing, her torn nerves, fear and spinning mind taking her well past the point of politeness - or even name-recognition. Her distracted attention means she doesn't see Shawns attack until he's well moving, and her duck to the side is awkward, one wing trailing out the side and slapping against the stallions chest as she leaps away. She gasps with the violent wrench to the limb, staggers and kicks out before she turns to face. She lifts the wing, almost raising it to sit properly beside the other but not quite managing to.
Pauses for a heartbeat then rears and strikes, forcing her wings forward to buffet at the stallions face(
