The ever-growing dracling circles high in the sky, searching for prey. She did not have to wait long, for after only a moment or two she folds her great wings in a headlong dive towards a large herd of deer. At the last moment she pulls out of her dive, a doe fattened for the winter it would never see in her talons. In one swift motion the adolesent dragon snaps the neck of the deer, swooping to the ground to begin her feast. Digging into the warm flesh, Malaya gorges, only pausing occisanly to look up every few minutes.

She stands still, taking deep breaths of the fresh salt air. "Tis lovely." Brilliant sea-blue eyes reflect the glittering waves. "I should very much like to ride it." Suddenly, a glitter of silver lands beside her. "Killikina!" The dragon has a worried look upon her scaled face. A silent communication spreads between them. "I am allright, no, this man will not hurt me. He is quite..nice actually." The femme's swirling eyes cloud to a calmer blue. The dragon-rider turns to her company. "Don't mind her, she is but a worry wart." The dragon cocks her head at being refered to as such. Three horns adorn her crown, covered in glittering silver scales. The graceful neck leads to a compact body, perfect for a rider to settle upon. The wings are made of pinkish, yet transparent film, with the blood vessels showing clearly when extended. The ridges upon her back finally flow to a long, tapered tail. The most striking characteristic, however, is the swirling eyes, expressing every mood of the dragon's life. Exactly as her riders do.

Quietly the young maiden approaches, still at the side of the handsome Lord Nickolai, only sound that of sandled feet brushing 'gaint grass. Eyes of gentle blue caress the beach with her gaze as the golden sands come into sight. Lips of coral pink curl upwards with a smile at the site of the grand ocean, waves lapping gently against the beach, reaching out in hope to exceed the distance the others had reached only to be pulled back by the current, swirling in colors of various blue's and purple's.

A petite hand rises to brush a soft lock of gold hair away from her cheek, the pale moonlight reflecting in dancing eyes.

Releasing his arm she takes a few tentative steps forwards, gaze sweeping the beach slowly in curiousity if any others were there...but it seemed as if only they two occupied the area.

Eyes return to the ocean, the comfortable silence remaining for a few moments longer as the lullaby of the ocean echo's through the Cove. Finally, her quiet voice breaks the silence, speaking half to herself and half to Nickolai. "I love going to the beach at night. No glaring sun, enough light from the moon and stars, rarely any strangers about.. And the beach looks almost mystical in the moonlight.. One couldn't ask for a more perfect time to walk along the beach or just sit on the sand and think.." Not thinking about the fact that her words might sound curious to some she walks towards the water, a cool, salt tinged breeze brushing past her and taking loose curls in it's grasp, causing them to dance 'bout revealed shoulders.

Digits grasp hold skirt, lifting it slightly as she slips off sandels, leaving them on the sand as she steps cautiously into the waves, keeping skirt just above the water, going no deeper than where it was just below her knee's. She strolls slowly down the beach, eyes drifting to the black velvet sky and crystal drop stars, expression thoughtful as she ponders over one thing or another, mind moving from one thought to the next.

Dragoness wings into view, agile body taking to the thermals like a hawk on a breeze. Silent as a shadow, azure-hued mystical hovers o'er the water, awaiting her friend's arrival. Wings flare, catching a heat pocket and floating over it, brilliant scales throwing off pinpoints of light, dazzling the cliffs with silver sheens. Aqua-and-blue tinted eyes rove the waters, reflecting rippling waves and schools of fish before scanning the sky for Killikina. Game could be found 'bout the terrain, but fish was what Jaded was after.

Down the dusty path come the pair, as well as the small contingent of knights at the rear. Grains of sand fly up under the shoed hooves of four horses, beating their way down the path. Pulling up, the King's ice-blue eyes reflect the glorious scene before them. Ocean meets sky in a burst of sunset lights, the evening's glow not far in coming. Though late afternoon, the sun's rays begin to tinge in crimson, gold and orange, tainting the undebellies of clouds a rustic purple. The lul of the waves counteracts the whistling breeze that ruffles the steed's manes. Halting near the long stretch of sandy beach, the King and his Queen gaze out at the panorama before them. Turning in saddle, the King flicks a finger towards a sheltered grove of aspen and oak, farther down the beach. The knights reply, moving off.

"At least the knights shan't bother us now. We art free now to traverse the stretch of beach on our own."

Swirling oculi of gold and brown sends its dancing gaze o'er lands, heading imediatly for the water's edge. White foamed crystals swirl 'round bare feet as stunning fem halts. Raven flutters from master's shoulder to soar o'er tree tops. Soft smile touches honey lips as digits play gently with golden curls. Stepping back only a bit enchanting figure lowers to soft sands, delicate feet still within the water's cool confines. Letting body fall back to soft earth gaze roams o'er blue sky laced with small clouds. Lids slowly flutter closed and sweet slumber pulling itself over slim frame, full honey lips still curled ever so slightly in smile.

The men slip through the thick foliage and silently suround Jonathan and Jessalynn McFaron. The leader of the group of about ten steps out into veiw and smiles, a strange glint in his dark, almost black gaze. His hand rests upon his sword and he speaks "Best just give your sister over to me, you know the king wants her. I've got men all around us, you can't get away" He calls and laughs, a laugh of only a sinister heart, set out to befall someone with harm, possibly death. The ten men to step out of their hiding, swords drawn.

Enters at a dead gallop. Pulls back suddenly, causing his ebon steed to slide to a halt and half rear. He glances nervouslt about then looks back and nods to his sister. Dismounts, hand resting upon a sword.

She nods also and dismounts her own chesnut mare. She glances around then wlaks up to her brother, fear lacing her hushed voice as she speaks "Jon, what if he finds us? You know he's tricked the king but what are we going to do?"

He frowns slightly "I'm going to write the king, he's got to believe me, remember, Tallon only turned him against you, Tallon didn't even know about me and I am the kings most trusted knight." He tries to comfort her and places a strong arm over her shoulder.

She nods, burying her face in his shoulder for a moment then pulls back and begins gathering wood for a fire, they may have to stay here over night.

Settling on the shore she looks around for Atermio, it seems she'd missed him. Laying back with a frustrated sigh she twirls the rose between her fingers, careful to avoid the thorns. Watching suspiciously around her she collpases onto her back giving many disgruntled noises.

At the touch of his fingers on her face, she experiences a slight tingle, and smiles up at him. Still recovering, but doing it quickly now, she touches his cheek where it had flushed and grinned to herself. Removing her hand slowly to rest it on the ground, she let her own blue eyes lose themselves in his once again, not minding at all the fact that ocean mist kept spraying upon their faces, leaving them damp.

Setting the picnic basket she had carried with her down, and stretching out a blanket, the blond haired lady put her sketch pad in front of her. Relaxing back, the soothing sound of the waves in her ears, she opened the large book and read quietly, enjoying this day outdoors, thinking that any of her snobby, uptight cousins would have scoffed and fainted at the idea of being outside, where your hair could be tousled, and your feet might get dirty! Chuckling softly, she realized that home was a million miles away it seemed, and they hadn't really mattered anyways. She should really pick up her search for clues on how her brother died, but for some strange reason she felt compelled to stay here for a bit. Did it have something to do with Lord Darian, that handsome man she had been with for quite a while? Maybe . . . turning her attention back to the book, she drifted in a dreamworld of fiction, the characters inside the story taking life.

A young man looking to be about the age of twenty-four makes his way down the road...short, chocolate brown hair rather unruly and deep blue eyes glittering brightly. Simple, white cotton shirt is half open, revealing ideal, tanned body. A charming smile adorns his handsome face as he whistles a merry tune. Glancing quickly over his shoulder, his gaze sweeps the area in search of his wife, Kira. Not spotting her, he gives a slight shrug and lowers himself onto a log nearby...awaiting her arrival.

*she glides in, the thermals giving her sleek body the lift it need to stay aloft, while infinitesimal variations in her wings give her control. As she nears a rocky outcropping, the femme flares out transluscent wings to slow her golden-hued body as talons grip onto the stone. Arching refined head back towards Jaded Mystery...* I am going up a bit farther for my kill... there will doubtless be large prey near the fresh water source on the other side of the open fields. When you have had your fill of fish, that is where I will be. Or if I have had my fill first, I will find you. *Talons sink deeply into the vertical rock, and the femme climbs, muscles straining against gilded hide until she is sufficiently above flat ground. Flipping back and out, she thrusts her wings out and takes to the air, turning back to where she knows the herds of elk will be travelling...*

A green cloaked figure astride a silvery mare canters down the beach. Strawberry tresses waver lightly behind her and a diamond tiara twinkles on her head. Her brilliant blue eyes have a far-away look in them as she stares out at the sea. The breeze ruffles her hair lightly and she reins the mare to a stop. The cool gray waves lap at the hooves of the mare and the rider legs her forward deeper into the water. The mare whinnies nervously, but the rider continues onward. She stops the mare with a slight tug on the black reins when the water reaches hock depth. Her blue eyes strain out over the gray water...

The muffled sound of hooves is heard on the beaten path. The sea drowns out the snorting of a noble’s steed, and the wind howls its forlorn cry. The tempest waves crash against the shore, broiling in anger. The smokey-grey clouds drift moodily over the sea, brooding and dark. The day is altogether unpleasant, gusty and crisp. Who would want to be out in this weather?

Along the path comes the answer, a milk-white steed trotting down the well-trodden trail. A dusty-blue cloak flaps in the wind, seemingly bright against this dismal setting. The figure is too far to be seen properly, for the thickening mists play tricks with your visage. Down the path the pair come, and the pallid horse snorts but continues his ponderous trot. The rider’s features still cannot be recognized: The cloak he wears flaps and obscures the tall form…They are merely an apparition – for now.

"You're more of a fish than me" *Calibur walks behind him and gives him a firm shove, causeing him to stumble forward into the surf and land face down in the water, he quickly gathers himself and spits out water, glaring at the stallion who bobs his head, seeming to laugh* "Hahah...Real funny Calibur...."

(Sorry bout last night Cris...my comp and i had another battle and it one...and Brice..I'm not treying to butt you out or anything....as far as Tristain sees this they are friends and he is indebted to her greatly, but if that's the way you feel i'm glad you are so kind to be that way, I hope there's no hard feelings!!)

Kylie....I know I seem in active.....but I'm on almost every day....but for short peiords....so I always have to cath up with posts....(I know everything that goes on here)my charcters are never reconized(probably cuase I'm so uncreative)or talked to....Brice is bored but not in love, I think you and that other guy will be good together....just filling you in....:*)

*the femme watches with uncertainty, having followed Kylie here from the castle. Had it been any other, she would not have, but the woman had not shown her any scorn... only kindness. Amber orbs watch the strange scene unfold before her, haunches lowering as she sits in the cool darkness of a stand of trees. She would have been here sooner, but she flushed out a rabbit, and... well, her hunger was gone for now, and the female had cleaned her muzzle well enough. The only evidence that she had eaten was a slight tint along under her jaw... yet even that was hardly noticeable. Satisfied, triangular lobes turn back to the couple before her, their words gibberish to her, the same way that hers were to them... but a certain warmth was given off in the words, and the lupine could discern the words of kindness from those of hatred.*

¤The carriage stops, and it is clear that it is pulled by 2 palamino stallions. The driver, dressed in gold silk, gets down from the box and starts unloading bags as a glorious young woman exits the carriage. She looks to be about 16, intellegent and mysterious. She has an Oriental look as well. Her golden gown flows and billows around her as she looks around curiously.¤

*The gentle breezes lift the loose locks of her dark hair. She scanned the beachside, seeing Nathen's stallion and the what appeared to be an angel, along with a unicorn.. She bit her lip, debating whether to approach him.. knowing probably that the business was about Creed... The dark mare beneath her pranced in place, fighting the bit. She held the mare, still unsure.*
