I'm sorry about that." He leans back, closing his eyes for a moment. He snaps them back open, staring up at the sky thoughtfully. "My family wasn't too large...I have a brother, and a sister. My father was a lord, owning a fair parcel of land. My brother, older than me, had eyes for it. He was a bit, well, more mature than me..." His eyes give a twinkle, micheviously. "My sister was quite a lady. As I recall she married some Duke. I could really care less. My mother died as well from a disease that swarmed the village...I left after. I was never a stay-in-one-place-for-long kind of soul. Wandering quenches my adventurous thirst." He doesn't mention what drives him further away from his roots, instead gives a faint smile. He plucks at some grass idly, frowning. "Marrying for love is far better than title or possesions. Perhaps that's another reason why I left..."
