I would like to thank the kind woman who loaned me (although I still have it) an inner tube after I had punctured just coming out of Keswick. Not only did she give me a tube but she also allowed me the use of her CO2 cartridge pump.
I would also like to thank Lofty, the organiser. This year was even bigger and better. The event is going from strength to strength, the facilities were excellent and the new time chipping system made things much smoother at all check points.
