You need to get something to prop it up. Something tall & wide enough to get it under the stalk where it bends from the mother plant. The bananas are to heavy and the whole plant will be pulled over. Do you know what type of banana it is? If they are close to ripening, you could cut the bunch off to let them finish ripening like they do in the stores. It doesn't matter to the plant one way or another, because once they produce bananas, that part of the plant is finished. The new plants (pups) should be coming up around the main stem now to take over making new banana plants.
