Allowance shd cover ya even if food costs tt much??? I reckon you'll be carting back tonnes of food stuff like noodles, seasoning, rice, en masse when you come back during summer hols? Jh too right? 1 kg of rice shd be able to last longlong time also. Fm what I remember, chicken is quite cheap. U can eat rice + chicken + rice + chicken + rice + chicken (throw in some baked beans when u are bored) to save lotsa $$$!! haha. As for calculating, u know how horrible my math is. When i'm overseas with friends, i usually ask them to convert for me. In London, i just took pound multiply by 3 cos it was too hard otherwise. When I cldnt times by 3 (cos the no got too big for me), i wld take easy way out and times by 2 and add a bit. so unscientific rite. speaking of food. shall cook myself campbell clam chowder soup now. hungry. and oh yessss.......... congrats yasmine.... relieved, huh? you should tell us abt ur FYP sometime... Author: adrian [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: 17:04:24 04/29/03 Tue yas-good for u, so nice to hear fr all of u, really. jh-congrates, thought u would like it if i broadcasted yr eventful essay completion. me, well i realised that i will be extremely busy this week. how come, it seems really fast this last term before summer break as everything seems to be piled up in a heap at the end of it. have lots of workshops and details to iron out before putting out a few final pieces for my end of term kind of show, as its only the three of us this year, the onus is on us to do something good( and the fact that i intend to do sumting good as i simply hate the american visiting students...argh) and dun ask me what i am doing, just the usual stuff... haha. oh well. and les, i do eat more that chicken n rice k, and a kg of rice can last me merely a week by the way, i do eat rice everyday as bread is for breakfast can... and u guys can ask jianhao lor, i do cook ok enuff food for myself and in the house, the girls i am staying with are amazing cooks... just had some chengting too, home made. so glad i didnt need to fork out 2.5 pounds. ok enuff fr me, all out there, take care. escape me . ad [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
