All I know about "mr. hottie" is that he is polite and well-spoken. He doesn't seem to be a slut and appears to be single. He is really nice and seems intelligent, unlike most Steelheads I have come across. He's attractive but not really my type. Go for it, man.

....I think the best way to approach him would be like approaching anyone else you would like to meet! You won't come across as a hoochie if you just go up to him politely and introduce yourself.....I wouldn't be like, "OMG you are soooooo good at hockey, blablabla" but more like, "Hi, I'm so and so...what's your name?" kinda thing....he's really nice, don't be scared! :)

I hope you guys hit it off...seriously though he is really nice and approachable. I've talked to him before and he wasn't arrogant or anything. He was easy to talk to, like he asked me about school and stuff and was totally chill.

I know what you mean...hahaha cracks me up...but what I would say is something like "How do you like Boise?" or something like that.....get the conversation in the direction like the cool stuff to do in Idaho, like camping, fishing, snowboarding, etc. Just try to forget he even plays hockey. :)

k so here's the thing...i've talked to him lately and i asked him how it was in iowa and that got it to where he started saying that he likes it here. then that should've been my chance to say something else but i didn't. it would be easier if he didn't look so dang cute and be so sweet when i'm talking to him.LOL how would be a good way to ask him to go do something without sounding like a freak? also myself and some friends are gonna go to vegas for their road games and i want to let him know that i'll be there again without seeming like a hoochie stalker. LOL so you can be my hero :)

aw that's cute. He has a younger brother, named Paddy. Um, he's from Toronto. went to a very prestigious all-boys private school. He likes to drink beer. Ask him about the show he was on last fall, making the cut. It was a hockey show on a station in canada, like a reality show where the winners would get to try out for an NHL team.

hope that helps with some conversation stuff. good luck!

...is that he DOES need a sweetie like you! Those typical Barbie-type chicks most likely don't mean anything to them. Probably only good for a lay, if you know what I mean. The only bad thing is, I don't think they really look for girlfriends in the towns that they are playing in. Most of them only want the hot chicks they can have sex with whenever they want to. But D'Arcy seems like he may actually have some class! Good luck. He seems like the type to appreciate a little intelligent conversation, and I bet you can provide that. :)

While most of that is probably true - I'm married to a player that I met in the town he was playing in. Just sharing as it can happen. :)

Age old usual - be yourself... I happen to know Darcy and he's a super sweet guy. My husband doesn't play on the same team and I haven't spoke with him in quite some time. I just read the post about a girlfriend.... :(

Sorry I can't be more helpful.

I doubt he is with anyone serious. My friend has had sex with him multiple times this season and he leaves her tickets to almost every game. So it looks like he's fair game! :)
