Hello all,

I am a new Christian... I was raised Christian but was a Muslim for some time until recently. I am currently going through a rather bitter divorce with my Muslim husband, and am looking for some advice. I let him have everythiong, and am moving on with my life, but he wants more. He wants to hurt me "if I do not cooperate" with his every whim. I do not believe in divorce, and this is especially difficult for me. (He was abusive and controlling and was married to another woman for starters, so there is NO reconciliation. I tried that...) He is getting worse and worse, being nice sometimes and horribly mean and hurtful at other times. I have prayed, and I have been as nice as I can be while still being firm about the divorce. What else can I do?

God bless,

~S~
