Date Posted: 00:41:29 07/10/05 Sun Swaggart says alot about "the cross" but I have yet to hear him EXPLAIN "the cross" and what he means. He keeps on telling us that we need to "understand the cross" but it is repetitive in his may2005 Evangelist article he says: >"If one properly understands the Word of God, then one will properly understand the Cross. And if it becomes obvious that one doesn’t understand the Cross, to be sure, one will have a misunderstanding at the same time of the Word. Such is the road to spiritual disaster." He does not properly understand the cross because he believes in conditional security + that a person can lose their salvation once they are born again. That is false. I know people who watch the tv program talk about the cross all the time and they don't talk about Jesus but just the cross. One more thing I read on the web that his son Donnie Swaggart is divorced from his long time wife Debbie and is remarried to another woman and is still PREACHING.
