ah yes, I spent many an adolescent afternoon with my nose buried in the Kinsey Report.

and as far as god tv and the whack web sites,

I had a job one time in an OHcult bookstore. What I discovered from working there was that--no matter how whacky or how nonsensical or unreasonable some hype theory was, there is always some nutase/sheep out there who will buy the book, subscribe to the newsletter, wear the t-shirt and to to the retreat/sales-pitch/seminar.
