That is a fair representation of many people's experience at Litkicks. It is worth noting, though, that the introduction of Frau Firecracker to the staff marked the start of the real blitz on writing that was unafraid to offend. The Fraulein in question is of course a long time apologist for the republicans and has frequently employed a quite malicious approach to her methods of 'moderation' on Litkicks.

It's not simply moderation; her methods involve selective deletion, freezing a member's access to their account, total deletion as well as deleting posts so as to remove context of a discussion in order to justify deletion. She has also been known to bait a member with abuse, only for her comments to vanish once the member responds in kind.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's Levi's site and he can delegate power to anybody he so chooses (though i doubt he is aware of many of fraulein firecracker's methods). But if you stake a claim to be about Literature, and if you trade for years on being THE online portal to Beatdom, then you'd do well to show some savvy when it comes to dealing with writing that doesn't give a fuck about the peculiar public code of morality that afflicts Americans.
