I thought that's what I was saying. A lot of energy translates into very little mass. So a pool of saidin corresponding to x amount of energy, regardless of the size it takes up, has mass x/c^2 but can still be tapped for energy to the tune of x.
It just occurred to me that that could be why the rock popped. It was pressure-equalized for one atmosphere, but when it was put in saidin the density is very very low, which means the internal pressure is very very low too.
