I live in Battle Ground, WA and am looking for an irish setter puppy, any quality as long as it's healthy and athletic. I don't like to have animals shipped, which is why I'd like to meet a breeder within 100 miles (preferably closer of course). Help?

My wife and I would like an Irish Setter female. Pup to 2 year old. We recently put down our 15 year old Setter/Golden. We have a large fenced yard and a 3 year old fixed Golden male. We are a mature couple and have had dogs all of our lifes.
Hope to find an Irish within 1200 mile radius of Edmonton Alberta,(We would drive) and hope not to have to pay more than $600.
Would prefir a dog from field lines. I don't hunt anymore, but still like to walk the fields and put up birds. Email bwmjohnston@shaw.ca

We live in Western Maryland and I am having no luck finding them anywhere within a 2 hours drive of Grantsville, MD and am very liery about buying online and having them shipped to me with out getting to meet them first. not picky male or female, just need one that is amazing with children and other animals. We lost our irish setter last week, he was 10 and died from an aggresive form of bone cancer. We love dogs and currently have an english setter (almost 10), she misses Quincy as much as we do. We live in New York State, near Albany, NY, and would love a male mahogany puppy. Please help us find one, we will definitely love it.

I just lost my Weineramar, to old age and cancer.

I would like to replace her with a female irish setter. I loved my weineramar very much, and she was a wonderful pet,
However, the "BEST" dog I ever had was an irish setter. I had one for 12 years. She came from champion lines, but I did not enter any shows or did any hunting. JUST A PET.
I live in South Florida, and would like to hear from anyone with an assortment of female puppies.

I found this site that had a very good link to a Veterinarian's Manual that is on line. This online manual could be a life saver for your Irish Setter, should something happen on the weekends when they are closed. Access to it is FREE the address is Irish Setters and Irish Setter Puppy Information Site The site also had a lot of information about Irish Setters.
