Author: Siah
Subject: "Nah, Wes called so we went out for a bit and I listened to him debate over what to do about Keish." He shook his head lightly, letting out a soft breath. If there was ever a dysfunctional couple...Wes had grown up a lot in the time that he had finished school and he was doin' great in his career but he seemed to still be pretty lost on how to really treat a woman he loved. "I guess since Keisha is a social worker, she came across this little boy, right? He's adorable, for real Lilah, so cute, and he's been really screwed over by the system and she wants to adopt him, her and this guy she was with were gonna get married to give them a better chance but Wes concinved her not to marry the guy and now he's working on the law side of it all to get her custody. Wes don't even like kids."
In reply to: Delilah 's message, "

I remember when the days were long
And the nights when the living room was on the lawn
Constant quarreling, the childish fits
And our clothes in a pile on the ottoman

  • She shook her head a little in disbelief - every time she thought that her and Siah had problems, she thought about those two and felt a little better. "Wow. Keisha's awesome and all, but seriously I don't think either of them are in much of a position to raise a child..." Though she didn't doubt that Keisha atleast would make an awesome mother one day, she was overly paranoid about the situations of potential parents just because of how things had been when she was growing up and for so many of the other kids around here and all of their parents' stories growing up.
