He had gotten everything packed up and moved to the new apartment already and when he got there Darius had been unloading some of Lilah's stuff - my goodness that woman had a lot of stuff - so he had helped with that and then had a beer with his friend. After a few moments of just watching her, he stepped into her room and shook his head, a soft laugh escaping his lips. She groaned in acknowledgment and dumped an armful of clothing into a box before padding over to drop herself sideways into his lap. One leg crossed over the other and an arm wrapped around his neck, her other flat on his chest. "Maybe we should just leave my clothes."
