At about the moment Hershey opened his mouth to bark, Jules too finally lost her grip upon the leash's nylon surface. She laughed as they both admitted defeat, the dog's tail still wagging. She loved how dogs, no matter win or lose, never lost their heart and spirit. She kneeled down and softly ruffled the fur upon the border collie's head, "There you go," She said softly, "How about an even more fun game out in the ring?" She asked, still undecided if today's focus would be on agility or flyball. She decided she would let Hershey make this desicion when they arrived in the ring. "A good game of ball sounds good too doesn't it?" She asked, snapping the shank of the leash to the hoop containing Hershey's identitifcation tags. "Ready to go, Hersh?" She asked, lengthening her legs to stand up, hand still massaging the fur upon his head.
