Date Posted: 15:05:41 04/18/04 Sun In the playpen in which the family of Gucci and her now three-week old puppies were being kept, the family seemed to be disagreeing on passtimes. While Gucci lay in the lush grass, tongue hanging from her mouth to accesorize a panting rythm of breaths, her puppies scampered about challenging each other to games such as tag. As Marmaduke and Oliver placed their paws to each others shoulders and began tumbling about in a dominance wrestling match, Gucci unfolded her powerful hindlegs and positioned herself in a sit. With an authorative bark she told the puppies not to do anything stupid, even though she knew it was just their puppy instinct leading them to such games. Lowering her body once more she folded a foreleg beneath her and rested her intelligent head upon the other paw, eyes never daring to leave her rambuntious puppies.
