Perhaps so, despite they may not explicitly state that.

In my opinion, the HKCI is rather mainly politically oriented, and thus they are not "organised" in a way that would facilatate the introduction and understanding of liberal Christianity, or promoting a kind of liberal way of Christian living. At most, they are "ecumenical" (in addition to being strongly politically oriented).

Their orientation could be inferred from the THEMES of their fortnightly magazines.
