按我所知，
全世界的基督宗教大致上有一半是天主教徒，
四分一是較開放的普世基督教協會有關的所謂主流教會（如聖公會）及東正教，
餘下四分一是福音派及靈恩派．
至於香港教會方面，
在數目上，
主流教會人數較福音派和基要派少，
但在政治和社會影響方面則較大．
