Oh please. Have you never gotten caught up in something and let it get away with you? He went way over the top, and it should never have happened, but it wasn't premeditated. With all the escalating violence in hockey these days, it could have happened to ANY of those guys including the one injured.
Everyone should look at it as a close call and a situation that has needed addressing for a long long time.
