本港外藉騎師戴勝，因為涉嫌毆打妻子被警方拘捕。其妻面頰及頸項有傷痕及紅腫，敷治後已經出院。

戴勝疑因金錢問題，今早與妻子發生爭執，其間戴妻報稱被戴毆打，以致面頰及頸部多處紅腫而報警，警方調查後將戴拘捕。

現年37歲的戴勝，在紐西蘭出生，1985年前往悉尼參加比賽，曾勝出300場分級賽，其中94場為一級賽，包括墨爾本盃及覺士盾，又曾連奪4屆「金拖鞋大賽」，並兩度登上悉尼冠軍騎師的寶座，被譽為是有史以來澳洲第二位成績最佳的騎師。戴勝其後來港闖天下，今季是他第4季在香港全季策騎。至今他已在港贏得250場頭馬。
