Inspiration:

As days grow older
And hearts bend colder
While familiar acts
Become snarls and traps

Still the truth remains
In these lukewarm veins
Entwined by the fear
Of a flame so dear

To whom do I go?
So that I might know
To whom do I run?
To escape this gun

And as the eyes close
For words are no rose
Remember the Cross
All hope is not lost

Then look to the sky
For help is nearby
