The chestnut mare had begun an akwardly heavy and lopsided canter in the direction of the chaos of Adrian, now that her fight with Firelight had been postponed for another day. She was lifting her head very high with each movement of her back legs....the tendons atop her hocks were shot, and the deep, powerful muscles atop her once lean, propulsionary hindquarters were mauled deeply from Firelight's jagged and powerful hooves. The only thing which was currently bothering Roxie, however, was her lack of eyesight--the sting was immense, and only tiny spots of her vision were left; blurry at the best. She could make out the mohogany silohuette of Adrian, and the form of something scrambling up the tree--obviously, that would be pussycat. Although she couldn't see the intensity of his wounds, she knew that with kitty's claws he had to be in rough shape...and knowing that Hex had come running over, she would be there beside him to ready another attack.
