Breathing heavily and lathered with sweat, the once regal stallion looked a terrible mess. His home, his mate, his entire life was under attack and he felt torn in fifty different directions. His flight from the battle with Firelight was cut short as he spied Moonlight. Unfortunately, he didn't have the time to properly welcome her and converse with her, but he couldn't ignore her presence. Sliding to a halt, the russet stallion fixed fear-filled eyes on the inky dame. His voice was thick with panic as he spoke.

"Moonlight, I'm glad you are safe. Paradise Isle is under attack from the Evils. If you know of any who would help us fight, please send them our way."

Hex hated asking for help, especially from one who already had much on her plate. However, it wasn't only for his sake that he plead for assistance. His entire herd was at risk, and if the Evils succeeded in taking over the Isle, who knew what they would attack next.

"Be safe, my friend. Send help if you find any." With that short parting, Hex found his speed again and galloped away to rescue his mate from Adrian's clutches.
