The russet trespasser's lame attempt at intimidation was just that, lame. Reddish thorns flattened to his chiseled skull, that being the only indication that he noticed her display at all. Liquid chocolate orbs roved incessantly over the rapidly darkening sands. Takara was safe, his mother, the hard-headed lady, was engaging Tyme, and Adrian was becoming a cat toy. A quickly disentigrating cat toy. Casting a sharp eye over Roxie, Firelight, and Lava, the crimson stud made tracks across the sand.

What possessed him to go to Adrian's aid? Damn if he knew, but Hex went all the same. Likely as not, it would come back to haunt him once Adrian regained control of what little senses he had. No good deed goes unpunished, right?
