She remained quiet, not making a sound. she had stopped talking about a year ago. when Sea Storm had disappeared. Refusing to talk, for not talking will keep you isolated. And being isolated will keep you from getting attached. Losing Sea Storm she thought was the last loss she could take, then her foals were ripped from her. Murdered by their own uncle. I like to say she got worse after that, but she was already such a mess she couldn’t get worse. She raised her kids but she was never a good mother. Never was as close to them as she shoulda been, they reminded her too much of what she lost. So she was a horrible mother, she tried though. She tried to love them, there just wasn’t much in her to love them. She was too empty, too hurt and too caught up in her own pain to do them any good. No matter how much she tried she couldn’t get over her life. there was too much loss, to much death, and to many people abandoning her.*
