A tear trickles down her cheek. "I knew you were here, so I thought maybe, I sould stay awhile..." She hangs her head sadly. "Look at us... Sundancers top two, the queens of AP and Sunlight Valley. Here we are now. Seems a little out of place... the two he said he loved." She sighs as her mind travels over the past few months since Rashik's arrival. "I don't blame Rashik, but I feel... replaced. You know what I mean? He won't talk to me... he walks with her for hours, and treats her with affection I never got from him. He depends on her now. I have a feeling that she will soon have position to match her favor with him. What does she have that we don't? I suppose I am just cursed that way. That's why I came here. I was the first one here besides him you know, and I can say first hand that this land and it's king have changed, and I don't know that I like the changes at all. I left my last home because I was replaced. My mate... he left me for another. Right in front of my face, he gave my position to her along with his affections. It started just like Sundancer and Rashik are now. I have nothing against her, it isn't Rashiks fault if Sundancer likes her more than me, prefers her company. I have been here so long, maybe I am just old news. Perhaps he is bored with me. On to newer, younger, prettier mares." She sniffs, then realizes how much she has been talking. "I'm sorry, you probably don't want to hear half of it, but I needed someone to tell, and you were the only one I could think of that might understand." SHe slumps down on the bank and sobs.
