Subject: Redline Race (advertised on the banner below)

The shootout at Redline on 8-13-2011 will NOT be an OTS race for points. If you are interested in going, call Gilbert at 817 851 2777 (Gilbert has the details). If you are available, please go to this shootout and support Redline Raceway. Remember, Redline is supporting OTS. We are still working on rescheduling the official Outlaw Top Sportsman race later this season. Everybody be safe and have a good time this weekend.

[> Canceled a scheduled OTS race at the last moment.Shame on you -- Racing a race they have refused to race at before.??, 19:38:24 08/14/11 Sun [1]

Just because it was easier in their own back yard. Go ahead and erase this so you can keep face as you usually do.

[> I don't blam redline one bit if they don't want us back after this stunt. Kelly was pissed about the deal. It was a scheduled race should have stayed that way 7 hotrods were there if one more one the top 8 points leaders would have showed which I am sure would have happened if it was still a points race we would have had a full field. -- It's obvious why it was cancelled, 21:19:50 08/14/11 Sun [1]

[> Stan and Mat was at the track along with Dave Moser Alan Powell with their cars not supporting anybody when we noticed we might be short cars on our biggest event of the year. This is like the BRA that kennadale has to us. Stan said he would race only if we were short of cars and I even ask Randy if Dave could run even though he is a clutch car because he only has a 500 ci mtr before i was going to be short of cars. STAN was supporting his home town track and not outlaw automatics . He was only helping the track out on our biggest event of the year as Dave Moser and Alan Powell please dont hate on these racers for supporting a track that supports OTS also thanks -- DARRELL REID, 08:52:04 08/15/11 Mon [1]

[> [> Mat and Stan were helping out our car count. at WRP. This race was booked 8 months ago. Stan was there to match race Dave Moser to promote OTS. When we were looking short on cars I ask Stan and Mat if they could help us out. If Dave would have had a converter then I would have asked him too. The Vernon Cruise event at WRP is one of the biggest events of the year for them. Its a damn shame more of our members would not show for this event. Truth be known most of the guys that run APM also run OTS, TOPMA and anything else that fits their cars. The payouts for any of these classes dont even start to cover the cost associated with running these types of cars. Most of us do it for the fun of it. -- Randy, 09:17:37 08/15/11 Mon [1]
