Subject: Es correcto rezar por los condenados (Espirituales)?

Queria preguntarles eso basicamente si es correcto rezar por las almas de los que ya SUPONEMOS que estan condenados por sus obras, pensamientos, etc.
Y digo suponemos porque solo Dios tiene la certeza sobre el asunto y el destino de cada alma, ahora, MI DUDA es sobre esas personas que sabemos que dificilmente se arrepienten de sus acciones, o que han incurrido en los llamados "pecados mortales o contra el Espiritu", cual es la posición de la Iglesia Católica al respecto? es prudente rezar por esas almas?
