Over the months since starting the Virtual Energy Group I have been trying to find resources on the web to provide solutions for various partnerships needs: not least the search for partners. Virtual Energy is a low budget partnership, simply a convenient instrument to knit together a number of real firms, themselves partnerships mainly formed in cyberspace and all of them on a nil investment, no financial risk basis. As a consequence like so many businesses born on the internet we had limited resources, in fact when each of the Virtual Energy Group Projects started they have none, all self-funding they have to start generating profit first. I needed to be able to advertise freely on resources that were active and not dormant. So many resources I found have wasted my time, looking like they are going to be free, trapping the surfer by making him invest his time, and only after that presenting the request for credit card information. Most others are angled towards making money from the freelancers or consultants that browse the adverts seeking those with needs to fill.
It was greatly refreshing to find this resource. So I made the commitment to run the forum, I will regularly contribute both to the content and the functionality and I welcome any feedback to suggest how I improve the forum. It’s too early to speak of voy.com ‘s place in all of this: its wonderful that they supply the initial resource and I hope they will continue to evolve the service so that I can stay with them. However, The virtual Energy Forum will remain long into the future to provide for the needs of guys like me.
What should the forum be well my needs have revolved around manpower and forming business partnerships, however I am sure we will all have different stories to tell and different ideas of how this thing should evolve. The main thing is for you to tell me what you need from the forum and if there is enough interest I will support it. At the moment I am thinking partnerships, agents, business opportunities, and so this is how I am intending to contain the discussion threads, and will do so until I hear your voice.
Personally I am seeking activity marketing partners for Landraiders ( www.landraiders.com ), an adventure travel company, itself a sub-partnership of the Virtual Energy Group and my next posting will put up the details. Soon I will be looking to find a webmaster for Landraiders. I will be looking to recruit an army of advertising agents for traveljaunt.com a web portal, sales-agents for Blue Orchid ( www.blueorchidbride.com ). On top of all this I am currently considering bringing in other partners into Virtual Energy ( www.virtualenergygroup.co.uk ) itself, to manage IT sub-partnership projects. Maybe I should get a recruitment partner to take this off my hands, and I need a book keeper and I need a…..It goes on, and I am sure your needs do to, tell us about them.
