At one point and time, long ago when there was peace and harmony, in another place. Gryphons were respected and I was their ruler. I had a loving mate and little son who were very supportive and enjoyed their life. Then somehow evil emerged from the Gryphons...it was my son. He had turned against us. He first tortured us. Somehow he had acquired overwhelming magic. I'll never know exactly how he got that magic, but nevertheless he enjoyed his power. He then moved on to stalking the gryphons and killing them. No one felt safe, but he managed to get a spell that kept us from fleeing. Then one day he demanded I give up my crown and everyone else and he would spare me, but no one else.
I was not selfish and refused. He killed them all, my mate and corner me by the "invisable wall" (the place where the spell keeps you from fleeing) I had nothing left in that world except him. I surrendered the crown and then my son proceeded to...to..kill himself. The spells broke and crumbled the second he hit the ground. I fled, with nothing left to look foward to. Nothing left I wanted to do, when I found this land. I found Sarob and have been here for such a long time with nothing. I have a city, but no occupants.
Perhaps one day I shall have something or maybe I'll be eternally waiting..." Ephiny stops and looks up to Digai. "Some wounds are not meant to re-open, but some are and it releases pressure on you. I feel much better now, I think."
