Date Posted: 16:28:17 05/21/05 Sat Saturday afternoon, my first shift in the new and improved One Taste Cafe. There is a Tango workshop going on all day and people keep streaming in. From my advantage point, I can see them slow dancing, checks to check to a modern torch song. Sensuality has so many forms. Anyway, I'm enjoying being in the cafe, taking orders, reliving my bartender days, when I start to notice all those minute details that have gone into Phase II of the cafe. Ron's systems that seem so small but save valuable minutes. Tara's juices which get gobbled up. Sam's direction on how to plate the dishes. "Do you have a culinary background" asks one patron as I serve up our hummus plate. And Laura's love which infuses this entire cafe.
