Hello,

If anyone is looking for ideas for teaching children about the Civil War era, I recommend the Addy books from the American Girl Collection. There are six books in the series and all cover life in slavery and information about the war.

Take care,

Shellie

I use the Meet Addy to teach the difference between retelling and summary. (NT)fan05:35:14 08/03/06 Thu
