Hi Gem - Just wanted you to know I saw your post and I hope your husband is doing better. You are so right about what really is important in life. When my depression was at its worst, I still was grateful that it was depression I was fighting, not cancer or some other devastating illness. Not to say that depression isn't an illness (or at least a physiological condition) that can knock you on your butt, just that there are treatments and the hope of remission. And as long as you aren't suicidal, it won't kill you. And what doesn't kill you can make you stronger, at least that was my experience.

Sending good thoughts your way.

L
