You are right about Brass being the center piece for many episodes. I still missed him. ;) I also felt unfullfilled, because I really wanted to see Allison's mother actually go in the house! I'm biased, I suppose, since I've disliked her from the start, but I miss the "boys" too. The exchanges between Sara and Sophia were definitely forced; not sure if that's due to underlying issues concerning Grissom, or simply two women who don't care for each other. Time will tell.
