I agree with you wholly. For fuck's sake, of course a person should have the right to marry, regardless of sexuality or gender. However, it happens to be a right that I do not wish to exercise. I concur with my brother Perry.
I must say, though, if I were ever to find the perfect guy, then maybe I would change my mind ...
For fuck's sake, let's throw the Bible out the window! Let's not forget that say Leviticus argues that one should kill thy neighbour who does not attend church on a Saturday.
The Bible also says that homosexuality is an abomination--so fuck the fucking Bible. The Bible breaches morality, but whose morality? The morality of bigots, I contend. How many references are there to the evils of heterosexual sex compared with the references to the evils of homosexual sex, anyway? And what about the missing scriptures from the Bible?
Anyway, Perry, I think that the photo of you in the MULR brochure with the collar is quite hilarious.
Sorry, but I must now go. I have pressing business issues to deal with regarding the company that I manage.
By the way, contrary to what 'no name' thinks, same-sex marriage is not just about legal recognition; it is about being afforded certain rights. Why should a gay person be denied certain rights simply because of his or her sexuality?
