Subject: Teenagers Bullying Young Children on Memorial Park

Just to pre warn anybody reading this that my six year was bullied and intimidated by a group of four youths on the older children swings at the Memorial Park today. Two were probably around 14-15 years old, one was half cast with glasses and the two other children slightly younger.
The incident occurred around 3.30-4pm on Saturday 30th June.
I was with my three year old on the slide and I was keeping an eye on my Daughter on the swings and could see the youths hanging around the swing but could see no physical evidence of any issues. After a while I called my Daughter to come off the swing and then the youths followed her off the swing into the main park. When they realised I was with her they went away.
My Daughter advised that they had been threatening her to go home or they would take her money and also trying to race her on the swing also threatening to take her money if she lost.
Unfortunately I did not have my phone on me to alert the police. Finally they went off towards the Firs Road direction.
I just want parents with young children to be extra vigilant .
