Soaring easily to her latest destination, gentle eyes blaze as she peers at the destructive black mountain below.
"It's a good thing that place has been placed off limits, if they'd waited any longer, someone could have been..." The Canis stops, her eyes transfixed on the limp figure previously hidden by the smoke. "killed."
Shaking her head, the old bird-wolf takes a deep breath, and spreads feathered wings into an easy glide. She closes her eyes as she reaches the painful gases, the acidity of the air causing her violet orbs to burn. She lands carefully, walking slowly towards the unmoving figure. She nudges her gently, and recieving no response, grimaces and tilts her greying muzzle to the sky.
-I'm getting too dyone old for this.-
Placing a paw on the creature shoulder, Seleth carefully begins the ancient healing process. Focusing first on the heart, she transfers half the beating of her own, to the organ held within the crett. Then, dizzy with the sudden slow of blood flow within her own body, the Canis healer transfers the toxic gases contained in this creatures lungs to her own. Seleth is over come with a coughing fit, and her body aches with sudden exaustion. Due to her newly aquired physical disabilities, she is unable to lift the Xenne to safety by air, and is forced to grab a limb and begin a painfilled drag to the northern area of the Volcano. Seleth pants with exertion as she manages to drop the creature on the edge of the area, and then collapses into unconsciousness next to her...

Both are alive, but for how much longer?
