With a low and throaty coughing noise, a Kumayaki emerges through the blackened fog, pine green eyes squinting against the acidic air. "What're you kids doing out here?" she mutters, sneezing as a whiff of ash blows up her nostrils. Then, seeing the two immobile forms, she winces. "Oh boy." She pads over to the other form, the one not dug out, and with broad forepaws shovels the ash and rock off the body. "Still breathing." Careful with her saberfangs, Dree grips the scruff of the Canis and tosses the limp femme onto her back, arranging her so that her paws dangle over her shoulders and hips. With her tail coiling around the violet beast's waist and steadying it, the Cano-Kiara steps carefully over to the other beast. Gently nosing the striped cub aside, Dree scruffs this creature too and carefully pulls it out of the pit, laying it against her forelegs for a moment to speak. "Alright kids, I'm going to haul these two back for you. I don't know how you got back, but there's a shortcut from here to the Sanctuary that I just took. C'mon." With that said in carefully enunciated Kalash, the green-shaded feline grasps Kley's mane in her powerful jaws, and begins the long drag to the Sanctuary.
