Without moving more than her head, Redwood lets her jaws open slightly and catches the bug, crunching it down with little regard to taste. Then, as the blood slows through her veins, she rolls herself upright and crouches near her meal, laying her forehands on the slack haunch, and, poised to take a chunk out of its soft belly, she flicks her tail blade. A couple-inch-long, white, squirmy, many-legged thing goes flying towards TFD, flipping its slimy length in midair. "Appetizer of maggider, anyone?" the red says randomly, grins, and plunges her muzzle into the pulpy gut of the 'Ben, drawing out bloody lengths of still-hot intestines and swallowing them gratefully, small tendrils of tendons and slivers of skin dripping gore from the corner of her jaws.
