Three Meadows Clearing
Troting upon an old and overgrown trail, you gaze silently about you. The sharp, yet sweet smell of cedar and pine lays thick in the air, and birds sing love songs in the trees above you. A tiny brook trickles across the path and dissapears into the forest. You turn of the path and follow the brook till you come to a small clearing. The grass is tall and sweet and is protected from the winters snows by a large canopy of branches. You continue on and soon come upon another small clearing, covered with flowers of all colors and sorts. This clearing is also protected from winters harsh winds and snow. The sweet and soothing aroma from the flowers almost lulls you into sleep, but you continue on. After awhile you come upon a small meadow, with rolling hills and dotted with fruit trees of all sorts. Here, it is open and unprotected, but during good weather it is a wonderful place to be. The brook trickles its way into a small pond in the center of the meadow. All the clearings are surrounded by pine and cedar trees, but are just a few minutes walk from each other.
