Subject: mini and horse

I have a miniature donkey named clyde and he is very lonely without an equine companion. Clyde is a full male and I was worried he may not get along with a gelding so I found a mare to put in with him. He only cmes to about my hips and I am getting a 14:3 hand mare. Is there a risk that they could breed?

There is always a risk of the mare getting bred by the donkey. If the situationsis right, the mare could lie down or if there is a low spot in the area, they could get together there.
